This charming country cottage, suitable for sleeping up to three people is situated in the attractive village of Whissendine, only ten minutes from Oakham and fifteen minutes from Rutland Water. The cottage overlooks the famous landmark,Whissendine windmill, built in the early 1800’s and reputed to be the second tallest windmill in Great Britain. |

There are two pubs in Whissendine, The White Lion and the Three Horseshoes. Meadow View Cottage is a finely furnished property set on two floors. With gas fired central heating throughout visitors can be assured of a warm and comfortable stay whatever the season. |

The tastefully decorated lounge with a small dining area has an attractive fireplace with log burning grate, ideal for those cool winter evenings. There’s plenty of comfortable seating in the lounge and for entertainment; a TV, DVD and stereo player, also lots of books and magazines to read and games to play. There’s a fully equipped kitchen with a beautiful gas fired Aga range and everything else that is required to ensure a comfortable stay, including a refrigerator with freezer compartment, microwave and washer/dryer. An additional bathroom downstairs. Upstairs the attractive master bedroom has a Kingsize double bed, with an en suite shower and WC. Also upstairs is a smaller bedroom fitted with a single cabin bed. |
